Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Technologies
Integrated suspension technology
The Voltage features patented integrated suspension technology. This means that the bike not only looks fantastic, but also has significantly improved suspension performance
Easy access to the shock
With the Voltage, accessing the patented integrated shocks is easier than ever. Simply press the button, remove the cover ... done. From here, adjusting the rebound, air pressure, etc. is just a push of a button away. When you're done, simply replace the cover until you hear a click and you're ready to go.
External SAG display
Setting sag and checking travel has never been easier than with the Voltage. An external display on the link makes it easier for the rider to set the sag and determine how much travel is being ridden.
Float X Nude suspension
The Voltage Tuned model features NUDE suspension technology with FOX's Float-X NUDE shock, paired with a fork that favors better adjustability. When you're riding up to have fun on the way down, you want a shock that gives you full power on the way down, but also a shock that won't slow you down when you need to go back up. This is where the Float-X NUDE comes in.
TQ HPR50 motor
TQ is a German company founded in 1994 that specializes in electrical components for a range of industries. With the HPR50, Scott is rewriting the rules. It offers an unprecedented weight/power ratio of 1.8 kg at 50 Nm. With a diameter of 8 cm, TQ has redesigned it with the use of harmonic gearing. This allows a reduction in size while increasing the accuracy of the system. The result is a lighter bike, better integration and less kickback to create a more natural pedaling feel. This technology also reduces operating noise for a truly comfortable and quiet riding experience. After all, you're in the great outdoors to enjoy it.
TQ HPR50 battery
The Voltage has an internal 360 Wh battery that can be supplemented by an external 160 Wh range extender. Thanks to TQ's electronics expertise, the HPR50 battery in combination with the range extender guarantees continuous maximum power until it is empty. TQ uses special battery cells to ensure that both the battery and the range extender continue to run at full power, even when it reaches low capacity. The system can be charged with the range extender, the intelligent charger, prioritizing the charge level of the main battery first so you never lose power while driving.
Free space
With the TQ motor, Scott can maintain a standard Q-factor with a 55 mm chainline. This opens up some interesting possibilities. Firstly, Scott can guarantee a wider tire clearance that doesn't sacrifice stiffness, which is essential for power transfer. Secondly, you have exactly the same riding position and pedal width as on a normal bike.
Dual water bottle
Unlike most full-suspension e-bikes, with the Voltage you don't have to choose between a range extender or a water bottle - i.e. between longer rides and sufficient hydration. Thanks to the integrated shock absorber, there is space for both an external battery and water. An optional sliding mounting system also makes it easy to switch between the seat tube water bottle and the range extender, so that both can be easily transported on longer tours.
TQ HPR50 range extender
The Voltage has an internal 360 Wh battery that can be supplemented by an external 160 Wh range extender. The range extender easily attaches to the front water bottle cage with SCOTT's exclusive Quick Release mounting system and features a sleek design and low weight, which means minimal impact on the bike's handling.
TQ HPR display
The TQ system focuses on a minimalist display in the top tube and a discreet shift lever on the handlebars to create a clear cockpit. Thanks to an integrated power meter, the LED display provides all important information at a glance, such as the battery level in %, the remaining KM range and even wattage figures. Want more? Connect your smartphone and use the TQ E-Bike app, which is available from the Apple or Google Play Store. With an automatic Bluetooth connection, you can track your ride and customize your modes. Want to use it with a bike computer? No problem. Thanks to integrated ANT+, the system can be easily connected to a bike computer such as Garmin, Hammerhead or Wahoo.
TQ HPR50 APP
The TQ app offers many advantages and is easy to use. With the TQ e-bike app, you can easily connect, customize and control your TQ-powered e-bike. The bike is equipped with a pre-set SCOTT motor tuning. With the app, you can further optimize your drive unit to either extend battery life or maximize performance. You can change the response of the pedals - either for a faster motor response or to slow it down for a more natural ride feel. You can also customize the display, change the order and number of available displays, switch control tones on and off, etc.
Cable management
It's no secret that there's a lot going on in a modern E-MTB, with a cable for the dropper seatpost, drive unit and battery cables, as well as rear suspension discreetly tucked away in the frame. Scott has developed a routing device for the dropper post cable and a shock sleeve to ensure that these components are well placed, easy to handle and kept safely away from moving parts. These clever solutions allow clean and unobstructed access to the rear shock settings when working on the bike.

The TQHPR50 E-Bike System

The lightest, quietest and smallest e-bike system in its class. The perfect features for more uphill and downhill. The TQ-HPR50 brings bikes to life that let you have more fun without compromising - Advanced, Naturally! TQ takes care of the technology so you can enjoy your ride!
At the heart of the system is the 1,850 g lightweight HPR50 drivetrain with patented Harmonic Pin-Ring Technology. Together with the 360 Wh battery, the fully integrated 2" display and the minimalist remote unit, the total weight of 3,900 g has created the lightest e-bike system in its class. The entire system is designed to maximize your riding pleasure on the bike without being noticeable.
Technology for the most natural riding experience

The Harmonic Pin-Ring Transmission, or "HPR" for short, is the result of TQ's decades of experience developing electric motors. A drive that is used in robots, satellites or even Mars rovers. With the further development of the patented Harmonic Pin-Ring technology, a drive gear has been designed that enables a seamlessly integrated, silent e-bike system.
Common e-bike mid-mounted motors consist of an electric motor and a combination of gears and planetary gears, making them clunky, heavy and noisy. At the same time, more moving parts mean more things that can break and act as a source of noise.
Thanks to the revolutionary HPR gear system, TQ is able to build a lightweight and extremely compact motor design around the bottom bracket that consists of only a few individual parts, making the motor virtually invisible. By eliminating additional gears that cause friction, noise, wear and potential sources of error, the drive unit has been made even more efficient. The result is e-bikes that sound, look and ride like analog bikes - and are ultimately better! It's technology you can feel. It's Advanced, Naturally!
Display

The DISPLAY - beautifully integrated into the frame - is the control center of your e-bike. Even in the most adverse lighting conditions, all important information on the status of the battery, the selected riding mode, the available range and much more, can be read optimally. via the ANT+ sensor, you can easily connect your smartphone or bike computer to the bike.
Remote

With the practical REMOTE you have full control over the HPR50 system without having to take your hands off the handlebars. It is intuitive and easy to use, and you can switch between three support modes and the displayed information. Should it get particularly steep, the Walk Mode supports you on the last meters to the summit.
Battery

The BATTERY with 360 Wh capacity was specially developed for the HPR50 Drive Unit and combines maximum efficiency with compact form. The low weight of only 1,830 g allows you to maintain the dynamics and look of an analog bike.
Range Extender (optional)

With the size of a 500 ml water bottle, the 900 g lightweight RANGE EXTENDER fits beautifully into the frame of your e-bike and fits into any standard bottle cage. Thanks to the Dual Charge Port, it can be charged together with the battery without having to be removed from the frame first. With a capacity of 160 Wh, it has enough energy to extend your after-work laps to epic all-day tours.
