The Scott Speedster Gravel eRIDE 50 is your ideal companion for endless days in the saddle. Technologies
Mahle X35 drive unit
The X35 drive unit from Mahle has a maximum torque of 40 Nm and is located in the rear wheel hub together with a 250 Wh battery in the down tube. Thanks to the placement of the motor in the rear wheel hub, the bike retains its natural ride feel and handling, without any air resistance. The x35 from Mahle is quiet and offers three riding modes that can be easily changed using the minimalist remote on the top tube. The system supports up to 25 km/h and then becomes a classic gravel bike. Mahle's technology ensures a natural riding experience when the motor starts to assist again.
Mahle IX250
The X35 system is equipped with a 250 Wh battery and the battery capacity technology ensures an ideal weight/efficiency ratio. The low weight and neat design of the battery allow it to be discreetly integrated into the frame while delivering enough watts for a full day on the bike. The battery is fully charged in just three hours and has a range of around 80 kilometres in ECO mode. Those concerned about range can add a range extender, which provides an additional 208 Wh.
Mahle IWOC ONE control system
The discreet iWoc ONE display from Mahle shows no more than is necessary. Thanks to the minimalist LED button, you always have the riding mode and battery status in view thanks to the color and intensity of the ring. For more information about your ride, the X35 system from Mahle is compatible with ANT+, allowing you to easily connect your bike to your bike computer. Alternatively, you can display the statistics on your mobile phone in the Mahle app.
My Smartbike app
The Mahle My SmartBike app keeps you up to date on everything to do with your bike. You can easily track your ride, perform system updates within minutes and view the status of your bike. Here you can also adjust the motor and enter how you like the support and pedalling response. It can be easily integrated with recorded Strava activities, which can be viewed in the app.
Mahle Range Extender
The 250 Wh battery offers a range of around 80 km when riding in ECO mode. However, for those worried about range, the Speedster is compatible with a 208 Wh range extender, giving you a total of 458 Wh of battery and plenty of range for longer tours.
Please note that this bike needs to be registered in the Mahle "My SmartBike" app to realise its full potential.

Lightweight and fully integrated, Mahle X35
With a total system weight of approx. 3.5 kg, the X35 enables the development of slim, lightweight eBikes that retain the natural shape and ride feel of a traditional bike. Its compact architecture makes it a good choice for urban, gravel and road bike applications where efficiency, clean design and reduced weight are essential.
Natural support and smart connectivity
The rear hub motor delivers up to 40 Nm of torque and offers the right level of support for everyday use. A PAS sensor integrated in the rear hub provides smooth and comfortable assistance, particularly suitable for comfort-orientated eBikes.
The system also includes ANT+ and wireless connectivity, allowing seamless integration with external devices and full access to system data via the My SmartBike app.
Efficient performance for daily rides
The internal 250 Wh battery is optimised for a balanced ratio of weight and range. Hidden in the bike frame, it supports rides of up to 185 km, depending on conditions, and provides reliable support throughout the day without adding bulk or detracting from the aesthetics of the bike.
