Schwalbe Aerothan – the tube revolution
Aerothan is a material that completely redefines bicycle tubes: extremely light, with maximum puncture protection and designed for minimum rolling resistance. The revolutionary new tube made of Aerothan achieves top values for elasticity, weight and puncture protection never seen before – and all that without rubber. The Aerothan tube is about 40% lighter than a comparable Schwalbe Extralight tube. Thanks to the newly developed material a sudden loss of air is prevented. In addition, the rolling resistance is minimized and ensures maximum riding dynamics. Thanks to its extreme heat resistance the tube can also be used on bicycles with rim brakes. Important for off-road use: even at low air pressures, the handling is still absolutely stable. Schwalbe Aerothan tubes are 100% recyclable and "Made in Germany". Available for road bikes, MTBs and trekking bikes.
