Used, unsorted inner tubes form the raw material for recycling. In Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, Schwalbe supports the return process for old bicycle inner tubes through a collection scheme in which end consumers can also take part easily and free of charge. Every new Schwalbe standard inner tube already consists of around 20 per cent recycled raw material. Schwalbe is constantly working to further increase the proportion of reused material without compromising the quality of the new inner tube.
