With the MOTION Hurricane, Schwalbe offers you a fast all-round tyre for roads, gravel tracks and light off-road terrain. It rolls quietly and very smoothly on tarmac and firm paths. At the same time, it has plenty in reserve when the going gets a bit rougher. The Motion Hurricane is good value for money, yet offers high puncture protection and is also suitable for e-bikes and S-pedelecs.
A whirlwind on every surface: the Motion Hurricane clincher tyre from Schwalbe
The MOTION Hurricane’s tread pattern features a smooth, continuous centre rib, allowing the tyre to roll very quickly and extremely quietly. The micro-serrations next to the centre rib improve your cornering grip, whilst still rolling just as quietly. The prominent outer lugs provide plenty of grip and lateral support on rough trails or loose ground.
All versions are black and feature a white reflective strip on the sidewall, which replaces the spoke reflectors. It is suitable for use with an inner tube and is always e-bike-ready – even for fast S-pedelecs (E50).

ADDIX COMPOUND
The MOTION Hurricane features our ADDIX rubber compound. It ensures that the tyre rolls quickly and for long distances on tarmac, whilst also performing well off-road. It is also particularly environmentally friendly. The carbon black used in ADDIX is sourced from our own tyre recycling programme (rCB – recycled Carbon Black). Full quality with an 80 per cent reduction in CO₂ emissions!
RACEGUARD
The double-layered RaceGuard protective layer is tear- and puncture-resistant. This equips the MOTION Hurricane to handle the many minor challenges your daily rides throw at it – whether the terrain is smooth or rough. Despite this, it rolls effortlessly – making it the ideal companion for your touring or commuter bike.
E-50
For fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h (S-pedelecs with type approval, insurance and pedal assistance even above 25 km/h), special tyre approval is required. For these bikes, we recommend e-bike tyres with the ECE-R75 approval, which is valid throughout Europe.
