In Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain, Schwalbe supports the recycling process for old bicycle inner tubes with a collection process in which end consumers can also participate easily and free of charge. Every new Schwalbe standard inner tube already consists of around 20 % recycled raw material. Schwalbe is constantly working to further increase the proportion of recycled material without adversely affecting the quality of the new inner tube.
