Air pressure stability
A Schwalbe inner tube retains air significantly longer. The quality of the ingredients and the purity of the rubber compound determine the quality of the inner tube. During vulcanisation, each Schwalbe hose is placed in a mould and pumped up. This is the only way to guarantee uniform wall thicknesses and excellent air retention.
Reliability
The consistent control that ensures the highest possible functional reliability: Each tube is inflated in the factory and stored under pressure for 32 hours to check its air retention.
Group tube system
Thanks to its high elasticity and quality, a single tube covers a wide range of tyre sizes. For example, tube no. 17 works just as well with a tyre width of 28 mm as it does with 47 mm. Only an extremely high-quality and reliable inner tube can fulfil this requirement.

Holds air longer!
The comparison test included selected inner tubes from tyre brands, private labels and "no name" products. The result was clear. On average, the other tubes lose almost twice as much air pressure in 30 days as the Schwalbe tube. Possible reasons: Less butyl content, lower quality butyl. Schwalbe is uncompromising in its claims here.
