Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "Albert Trail Gravity Pro Radial 29x2.50" TLR Soft E-50 folding tyre"
The Schwalbe Albert is the jack of all trades among Schwalbe's trail and enduro tyres. Whether in competition or on tour with your mates, on hardpack trails or soft paths: it consistently delivers the grip you need in any terrain and gives you the courage to try new things. Also for E-MTBs!
The radial carcass moulds itself to the ground like never before, increasing the contact area and providing better support for the lugs. The tread and carcass always function as a powerful unit. This provides more grip, more cushioning and more safety.
Ultra Soft is the softer compound for maximum grip and even more cushioning for the toughest challenges. You can also combine: Albert Soft on the rear wheel and Ultra Soft on the front wheel.
Features - Schwalbe Albert Gravity Pro Radial 29x2.50" TLR Soft E-50
- Radial carcass enables a larger contact area and filters road bumps much better: more grip, more comfort and more safety
- Literally sucks itself into the ground as the tyre deforms more selectively
- Profile optimised for radial carcass: many lugs for maximum control and good durability, ideal front tyre
- Safety and control in all situations
- Pro version with reinforced carcass

Tyre technologies
SOFT
SOFT is a compound that bridges many areas. It belongs in the enduro and downhill world as well as in demanding all-mountain and trail riding.
RADIAL
With our radial tyres, we are turning the MTB world on its head. We have always asked ourselves the following question during development: How can we make the best possible use of the limited contact area of a tyre? The basis for this is the completely rethought construction of the carcass. The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tyre at a 45° angle in conventional bicycle tyres, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle in our radial tyres. This technology opens up completely new dimensions in the function of bicycle tyres.
