Lifetime frame warranty
Santa Cruz Bicycles will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any frame manufactured by Santa Cruz Bicycles that is found to have a material or manufacturing defect. The warranty is valid for the lifetime of the frame and is available exclusively to the original owner. Notwithstanding the foregoing, frames purchased before 1 May 2015 are covered by the previously existing warranty for five years from the original date of purchase. In the event that the warranty does not apply, Santa Cruz Bicycles will offer the original owner replacement parts at a reduced price for the warranty period described above.*

The sole remedy available under the above express warranty and any implied warranties is the repair or replacement of defective parts with parts of equal or superior quality, as determined by Santa Cruz Bicycles at its sole discretion. The warranty does not cover labour costs, custom-made parts, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from commercial use. The warranty shall be void if the part has been altered in any way from its original condition or used for any purpose other than its normal intended use, as determined by Santa Cruz Bicycles at its sole discretion. The warranty for damage caused by accidents, falls and other factors is limited to the replacement at a reduced price as mentioned above. Any implied warranties (including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) which cannot be excluded under applicable law are limited in duration to the period stated above or the applicable limitation period, whichever is shorter.
The above warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Santa Cruz Bicycles. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all other express and implied warranties (including, but not limited to, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are hereby excluded.
