No compromises were made with the bearings and plain bearings from the German manufacturer IGUS and industrial bearings were used! This increases the service life considerably, as there is virtually no wear in the bearing area.
The pedals turn a little slower from the factory, but this is intentional. This prevents the pedals from turning on their own if you ever take your foot off the pedal during a tight cornering manoeuvre!
