Ich habe versucht, Racingbros-Scheibenwischer an meiner RockShox Reba 2011-Fahrradgabel anzubringen. Leider ist eine vollständige Montage nicht möglich, es verbleibt ein Spalt von 2mm. Ich habe zur Installation verschiedene Spezialtools verwendet, aber es hilft nicht. Ich weiß nicht, was der Grund ist. Mit den Original-Scheibenwischern von RockShox gibt es dieses Problem nicht!
Sehr gute Dichtringe.... haben an meiner Fox 32 F80 RL Remote F-Series aus 2009 gut gepasst. Einzig die letzten paar Millimeter gingen sehr sehr schwer einzutreiben, ich wollte das Casting aber auch nicht mit den Ausfallenden auf den Boden stellen und habe sie daher nur auf dem Schoss gehabt was natürlich sehr federt. Die letzten paar Millimeter waren nur mit dem Hammer und Einpresswerkzeug einzutreiben. Das Einpresswerkzeug hatte ich aus dem 3D Drucker und hat ganz schön gelitten dabei, aber hauptsache die Ringe sitzen. Im Gegensatz zu den Originalen Dichtrungen von Fox sind sie aber wohl doch einiges besser da sie eben die Flange besitzen welche Fox ab 2016 weggelassen hat. Somit besteht nicht die Gefahr die Dichtringe zu tief einzutreiben. Beachten sollte man das die Dichtringe 42mm Außendurchmesser haben, und es aber Gabeln gibt die nur 41mm Innendurchmesser bei den Aufnahmen im Casting haben. Das wären zwar "nur" 0,5mm auf jeder Seite und man könnte meinen es ist ja nur Gummi und das drückt sich schon... bekommt man aber auf keinen Fall passend rein, da die Ringe selbst außen knüppelhart und Metal verstärkt sind. Ist mir ehrlich gesagt auch ein Rätsel warum die letzen Millimeter so schwer gingen aber naja drin ist drin und keine Macken am frisch lackiertem Casting XD.
