The PROTECTIVE Women’s P-White Marble W hybrid jacket is an insulated jacket that strategically uses different materials exactly where they are needed. The front and shoulders are made from wind-resistant nylon with kapok padding, which keeps the upper body warm without adding much weight. The sleeves and back are made from recycled thermoelastic material, which offers maximum freedom of movement and good ventilation.
This hybrid design makes the jacket particularly versatile: at the front, it provides reliable protection against the cold wind, whilst at the back it remains breathable and stretchy enough not to restrict your movement whilst cycling.
The cut is tailored to the sporty riding position: a slightly extended back, a close-fitting cut and plenty of room in the shoulders. The kapok padding at the front provides extra warmth and ensures a comfortable fit. Combined with the nylon outer fabric, this creates a front panel that is wind-resistant and lightweight.
The P-White Marble W works well as an outer jacket in cool weather or as a warming layer under a rain or wind jacket in even colder conditions. Thanks to its light weight, the jacket can also be easily stowed in a rucksack when conditions change.

FLOCUS (KAPOK)
At PROTECTIVE Sports, we deliberately avoid using animal-based insulation materials such as feathers and down when selecting materials. Instead, we use natural or synthetic fibres. In close collaboration with FLOCUS™, PROTECTIVE Sports uses plant-based fibres from the kapok tree, which, thanks to their properties, are suitable for padding and also for use in T-shirts. The project with FLOCUS™ is a key component of PROTECTIVE Sports’ material development.
TECTRON
The recycled material is further processed using TECTRON technology and prepared for the manufacture of TECTRON materials:
- provides a new use for non-biodegradable material
- enables the reuse of recycled material and can thus help to reduce waste
- Recycling PET bottles into rPET yarns can save energy and reduce CO₂ emissions compared with the production of conventional polyester. The actual savings depend on the specific manufacturing process and the comparative data used.
