The VPD Max Elbow features an innovative two-layer VPD construction, is certified to EN 1621-1, Level 2 and is designed to absorb impacts from high-energy falls, offering flexibility for downhill and enduro riders and are shaped to follow the shape of the elbow and move with your body as you move with the bike.
Two layers of soft and flexible VPD (viscoelastic polymer dough) are wrapped in a robust fabric cover. The material heats up, moulds to the body and hardens on impact to absorb shock forces. The two-layer construction enables controlled sliding and thus ensures better shock absorption. The pads are ergonomically shaped to maximise comfort on every ride. They adapt to the body in every riding position.
