SmartEVO COMPOUND
The new SmartEVO Compound uses a combination of 3 different polymers, each providing a specific performance characteristic, together creating a perfect balance between different characteristics: the ultimate goal of all tire technicians. To bring this project to such a fantastic result, Pirelli used its extraordinary experience, grown in over 100 years of motorsport, and combined it with the also existing extensive cycling expertise and the own claim to always work at the highest level. The profound knowledge and chemical know-how enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to use advanced ternary polymer mixtures, which forms the basis for the "smart" driving behavior, excellent grip under wet and dry conditions, and the outstanding rolling behavior. A performance package that is suitable for all modern racing bikes and terrains, and is designed to allow full performance in any situation, from amateur races over long-distance adventures to World-Tour classics.
SPEEDCORE
The most powerful Tubeless-Ready option in our road range consists of a thin, airtight layer of a rubber compound with aramid particles that covers the inner part of the tire. The improved flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and smoother, while the aramid guarantees better puncture protection. The carcass is completed by a 120-tpi nylon fabric and puncture protection made of aramid. SPEEDCORE is a patent-pending technology. The SPEEDCORE technology is used exclusively for the TLR models of the PZERO Race product range. SPEEDCORE is the choice of the World Tour Factory Team.
The TechLINER is a tubeless, road-specific 120-tpi casing with a rubber lining that provides better pressure distribution. This allows you to drive fast while relying on reliable technology that is designed for all-round performance and long-distance applications.
