Road all-rounder: the Pirelli Cinturato™ EVO TLR
The CINTURATO EVO TLR from Pirelli combines technical advancements with sustainability and versatility. Building on the predecessor model CINTURATO Velo, it offers improved grip, more comfort and a longer service life, regardless of the weather and surface.
The wide range of sizes makes the tire suitable for road bikes, gravel bikes, commuters and touring. The SmartEVO AS compound increases grip, reduces vibrations and ensures a safe riding experience, even on wet or cold roads.
The tread pattern is based on the SCORPION Trail III motorcycle tire and combines a smooth center tread for high mileage with profiled shoulders that provide better grip on gravel and slippery surfaces. The construction improves abrasion resistance and increases mileage by around 40% compared to the previous model.
One focus is on the use of sustainable materials: more than half of the components are bio-based or recycled, which is confirmed by independent test centers. The natural rubber is also FSC™-certified, which ensures responsible sourcing. Pirelli's own logo for sustainable products indicates its commitment to environmental protection and the circular economy. The tire is manufactured in Italy, is tubeless-ready and is suitable for everyday use as well as for sporty or adventurous rides on various surfaces.

No problems installing two sets 40 of aluminum wheels and another set of carbon wheels for my gravel bikes. if it's difficult, you can lubricate it )
Moin, die Reifen sind von der Montage grenzwertig. Die Möglichkeit der Tubeless-Montage ist stark abhängig von der Innenmaulweite der Felge. Montage von 18mm unmöglich. Bei 22mm hat es geklappt. Contis AS können das um Klassen besser.
I bought these as I am a big fan of Pirelli Cinturato Velo's and was hoping these would be even better. I've been using tubeless for four years and never had such issues just getting them on the wheel, mounting these tubeless is really painful but might have been even worse with inner tubes- I reckon there would have been a high probability I put a tire lever through an inner tube. It took me about 90 minutes to get the obstinate b******** on. Once on, I actually managed to seat them first time. I put 35mm tyres on a 23mm internal rim width. So about 2.5 from 5 for mounting because I did succeed in the end I've now only ridden them once, for 30km in wet conditions and they were comfortable and grippy. 5 out of 5 thus far.
Moin, diese Reifen sind eine Tubelessmontage-Katastrophe. Nach etwa 10 Jahren problemloserTubelessnutzung auf MTB und Rennrad sind die Reifen der absolute Tiefpunkt. Reifen auf Felge montiert. Dann starten die Probleme. Auch mit Kompressor auf 8 bar und allen üblichen Tricks wollen die Dinger nicht auf die Felge springen. Dieses scheint insbesondere bei schmaler Innenmaulweite der Felge ein Problem zu sein. Bei einem typischen Winterreifen und den im Winter oft genutzten Alulaufrädern sollte es Kompatibilität geben. Die Cirtuato ohne Evo waren übrigens mit den DT Swiss Laufrädern kompatibel. Zu guter letzt habe ich mir den Spaß gemacht die Schlappen mit zur Autowerkstatt zu nehmen. Auch dort keinerlei Erfolg und Ungläubigkeit.
Geniale Reifen, Montage ist überhaupt kein Problem, aber da verzweifeln ja viele, die keine Ahnung haben. Mit etwas Technik und minimaler Kraft, gehts super. Es hilft sie auf Maximum - 4,5 Bar bei 40mm aufzupumpen, damit sie sich einmal voll entfalten. Super Abrollverhalten, sensationelle Dämpfung bei genügend Grip auf trockenem Schotter und nasser Fahrbahn. Löst den GP 5000 AS locker ab.
Die Montage war leider unmöglich. Auf die Felgen vom Radon Regard 9.0 FE von 2023 (GX26P Alexrims 622x23) passen sie nicht drauf.
