The locking jaws of the BMT-1 are tightened against the sidewalls using the large adjustment knob, firmly squeezing the tire body. Once the long, strong handle is pulled laterally in either direction, the bead is pulled away from the bead seat and towards the center channel, allowing for removal using a tire lever or other method. Non-marring jaw covers protect the rim and tire from damage.

Eddy Current, tubeless, Tire Trooper, viel Milch drin. Demontage ohne Probleme und ohne Sauerei. Klasse. Vorherige Versuche mit formähnlichen Schweißgripzangen oder einer Kreg Classic Schnellspannzwinge waren enttäuschend.
ich empfehle das werkzeug nicht einfach so zu kaufen wenn keine derartigen demontage schwierikeiten gegeben sind, wie beispiesweis bei rennrad reifen.

Uih, das bringt echt was! Hätte ich nicht gedacht bei diesem teuren (und großen) Werkzeug. Aber wo ich früher mühselig mit bloßen Händen versuchte, den strengen Reifen zu lockern und mich dabei abzurackern, klappt dies mit dem Werkzeug fast mit links. Die Werbung hält tatsächlich, was sie verspricht. Lohnt sich für alle, die öfters Reifen abziehen müssen. Ob das 800g schwere Werkzeug allerdings auch in mein Pannenset für die Reisen kommt, muss ich mir überlegen. Doch wäre ich irgendwo in der Pampa mit einem Platten und dem Wissen, dass es diesen Reifenabdrücker gibt, dann wird dieses Werkzeug mit Gold nicht aufzuwiegen sein.
