Super tough enduro rim: the Evolution SL E.G.30 from Newmen
In fact they are 40% more durable than the SL A.30. As with the regular rims, the profile is completly round and the flared flanges keep the tyre rounder on top of making the rims so hard-wearing against dents and deformation.
Materials are deployed precisely at critical points and shaved off elsewhere. The flat spoke bed is designed to work with special washers for extremely high spoke tension values whilst keeping the amount of material used down to a minimum. In contrast, the flanges are substantially thicker than on other rims in the same weight class for added strength and durability.
