MET's 3K carbon technology is the key to success in outperforming all currently available helmets. Due to the elastic properties of carbon, the density of the EPS foam can be reduced by 20% without negatively affecting the energy absorption capacity. The parallel "ribs" of the Trenta are connected by a carbon frame integrated into the EPS shell, making the helmet not only more stable but also significantly lighter than a traditional construction.
