Tubeless ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure and therefore have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with hose, and where there is no hose, the risk of breakdowns is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres, because the bead of the TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that tubeless mounting is successful with the first inflation and with little liquid on all rims that comply with the standard dimensions. Normal MAXXIS MTB tires can also be fitted with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabrics are very dense. However, only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless installation and guaranteed by MAXXIS, the tubeless installation of other models is at your own risk.

Super Reigfen als Leichtlaufalternative fürs MTB - rollt toll, keine Platten.
Bin jetzt damit eine Saison gefahren. Nur Straßen kaum Gelände alles in der Stadt viele viele Scherben Nägel etc. keine Platten. Habe heute beim abziehen die vielen Wunden gesehen. Hat mir eine Menge Stress erspart kommt nächstes Mal wieder drauf.
Habe den Reifen gute 6000km gefahren. Davon über 5000km auf einer Radreise mit Gepäck und dabei häufig auch auf schlechten Straßen und Schotterpisten. Keinen einzigen Platten! Tubeless Montage ging sehr einfach mit Standluftpumpe. Zuletzt war am Reifenwulst teils stärker Verschleiß zu erkennen. Nach dieser Laufleistung bei hartem Einsatz mit eher niedrigem Reifendruck für mich absolut vertretbar.
