The Mavic Crossmax front wheel brings legendary XC technology to an affordable price and combines lightness, reliability and modern features. The welded Maxtal rim with 25 mm inner width and hookless profile offers a stable, perfectly sealed design and is completely tubeless-ready.
Thanks to UST technology, riders benefit from better traction, greater comfort, and reduced risk of punctures. 24 double-butted spokes and the Infinity hub platform ensure dynamism and stability.
Features - Mavic Crossmax
- Maxtal aluminium alloy - Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminum alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.
- UST tubeless technology - Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.
- SUP welding technology - Soudé Usiné Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
- Infinity hub design - Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is easy thanks to a tool-free solution.
- QRM Auto bearing preload technology - Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.
