Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 CL Carbon Wheelset
Product information "Cosmic SLR 45 CL Carbon Wheelset"
The Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Carbon wheelset has been designed for riders who demand more. It combines speed, stability and precision to turn every ride into a true performance experience.
The wider rim profile ensures maximum efficiency and a seamless transition between the rim and the tyre, thereby reducing air resistance and eliminating micro-turbulence.
Mavic’s FORE technology ensures a strong and precise connection between the rim and the spokes by screwing them directly into the rim at the optimum angle. This eliminates unwanted movement and improves stiffness and long-term reliability.
Features – Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 CL Carbon
- Adaptive Layup Carbon Technology – Optimised carbon lay-up for a bespoke combination of lightness, stiffness and compliance
- Special hub design – Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised contactless lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is simple thanks to a tool-free solution.
- Instant Drive 360 Freewheel Technology – The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is ultra-light and efficient. A large, contact-free rubber seal ensures low friction, whilst a wide range of end caps makes it extremely versatile.
- UST Tubeless Technology – Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready-to-ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and the risk of punctures.
