Warming softshell jacket for maximum performance in winter: the Aksium Thermo from Mavic
The warm 3-layer softshell fabric provides reliable protection against the cold and wet. Two different materials have been combined to provide protection even in the harshest winter conditions without overheating in milder weather: A 3-layer softshell fabric with a waterproof membrane (10K Schmerber) is used on the chest and arms to act as a barrier and keep out wind and water, while the brushed inside provides additional warmth and comfort. On the back, a breathable, textured fleece ensures effective heat regulation during activities at higher speeds.
To keep you visible in low visibility winter conditions, the jacket features subtle but effective reflective prints on the chest, lower back and sleeves for 360° visibility. This is complemented by first-class features such as secured pockets with strategically placed silicone prints that secure your belongings without weighing the jacket down, as well as grippers at the bottom hem that ensure a perfect fit. Reflective details further increase safety, and an injected zipper ensures that the jacket can be easily operated even when wearing gloves.
