Manitou - from the first suspension fork to the most advanced dropper posts

The story of Manitou began in the mid-1980s in – well, take a guess! - Manitou, Colorado. More precisely: in a garage. Where else could it be? After all, company founder Doug Bradbury was living in the town and constantly working on new solutions for better mountain bikes. Bradbury was an MTB pioneer, is regarded as the inventor of the suspension fork and has long since been honoured in the mountain biking hall of fame. Manitou's claim to provide the smoothest possible mountain biking experience with excellent suspension elements has not changed since the early days, while the company and its suspension forks, shocks and dropper posts became a part of the renowned brake manufacturer Hayes in 2006.
