Technologies
Adjustable extension speed
The internal air pressure of the KS Rage-i 2.0 can be individually adjusted via the integrated Schrader valve. This allows the extension speed of the Vario seatpost to be tailored to personal preferences and different riding conditions.
Self-bleeding system
Should air and oil mix within the system during use, resulting in a temporarily soft or spongy feel, the Rage-i 2.0 can restore its normal function through a simple self-bleeding process. By manually cycling through the full stroke several times, stable operation is restored – without the need for tools or dismantling.
Compact design with maximum drop travel
The redesigned clamp head and compact actuator reduce the overall length of the Rage-i 2.0. Compared to the Rage-i with the same travel, the new clamp head is 10.3 mm shorter and the actuator is 3 mm shorter. This provides more usable lowering travel for the same insertion depth, making the seatpost suitable for smaller frames or frames with limited installation space.
Service-friendly design
The revised design makes maintenance and servicing of the Vario seatpost easier. The bolted design allows quicker and easier access to the relevant components.
Optimised saddle clamping
The cylindrical upper clamping nut makes it easier to fit the saddle. At the same time, the increased vertical angle of the clamping bolt ensures greater clamping force and a secure fit for the saddle.
Optimised actuator
The lightweight, rotating lower actuator has been designed to require minimal operating force. In conjunction with the internal cable routing, it allows for a clean integration into compatible bicycle frames.
Reliable cartridge architecture
The specially developed cartridge architecture of the KS Rage-i 2.0 is designed for smooth and reliable operation under demanding trail conditions.
