Katana RS-1e E-Bike assembly stand

The Katana RS-1e is a reliable assembly stand that meets all the requirements of even the latest types of bikes. It is characterized by the particularly high load capacity of up to 35 kg, the space-saving folding mechanism and its smooth-running, stable rotation system. Torque wrenches - important tools in the bicycle workshop

Torque wrenches are precision tools that make it possible to tighten screwed connections exactly with the force recommended or specified by the manufacturer. Especially for frames and add-on parts made of carbon, the correct torque, which is specified in Newton meters (Nm), must be observed. However, the correct tightening torque also ensures that the screw connection is not overloaded with all other materials.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Torque wrenches are not suitable for loosening screwed connections, either in left-hand or right-hand rotation (screws with left-hand threads are rare, but they do exist → e.g. the left pedal!). Loosening screw connections destroys the sensitive mechanics of the torque wrench. The measuring accuracy is then no longer guaranteed. Improper storage can also affect the accuracy. A torque wrench must always be stored in a relaxed state, i.e. at the lowest adjustable value!
And another important tip at this point: Before the first use, the complete working range of the torque wrench should be turned up two or three times and brought back to zero position. This allows the special grease to spread effectively and reach all relevant points in the mechanics.
