The Katana CCH-1 chain gauge is the essential tool for checking chain wear quickly, accurately and easily. By measuring the chain in good time, you can prevent costly consequential damage to the cassette and chainrings and ensure your drivetrain performs at its best.
Thanks to its modern design, this gauge is extremely versatile and compatible with 5- to 13-speed chains. It is ideal for standard chains as well as modern specialised types such as SRAM® T-Type, SRAM® Flattop™ and Shimano® XTR® 12-speed chains. In addition, the tool features an integrated chain-holding hook. This reliably keeps the chain taut during assembly or disassembly and acts as a ‘third hand’, making it considerably easier to rivet or fit a chain lock.
