Elegant and smart wheel-on technology: the TUO from Elite

Compact, user-friendly and very quiet, TUO is a fully interactive wheel-on trainer with automatic resistance control. TUO was developed in collaboration with the Turin workshop Adriano Design to provide a powerful tool for indoor training or warm-up, while presenting a piece of furniture with a refined Made in Italy design. TUO calculates the developed power with an accuracy of ± 5%, simulating inclines of up to 10%. This home trainer uses a new algorithm developed by Elite in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Technomathematics ITWM in Germany to calculate the power output.

Nice to use, elegantly folded
Tuo is a roller that can meet any cycling training need and also has a superior Made in Italy design, sober and unmistakable, designed to make this trainer an ideal piece of furniture to be kept in the living room or in any area of the house or office, even when not in use. In fact, this castor has a solid and compact structure made of high quality materials: aluminium unit, steel frame and legs in beech wood, which is one of the most beautiful, resistant and robust woods used for the production of interior furnishings. Beech wood is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also ideal for absorbing shocks and loads during training, ensuring maximum stability.

Compact structure and instant set-up
Lightweight and easy to transport, Tuo has an easily foldable frame and support legs to ensure quick and immediate set-up at any time. When stored, the castor adopts an extremely compact configuration that allows you to place it in any corner of your home or office without forgetting to keep your rooms looking neat and distinguished. At the same time, this roller is characterised by the great stability it can offer during cycling training: In addition to the non-slip rubber feet, Tuo presents the Fast Fixing locking system, which allows you to hook and unhook the bike from the support frame with just one very quick operation using a practical lever.

Quiet and super compatible
Tuo is not only attractive and compact, but also quiet. The roller on which the bike wheel rests is made of Elastogel, an exclusive polyurethane molecule developed and tested by Elite to limit friction noise by 50% and reduce tyre wear by more than 20% during training. Tuo also has another great virtue: a frame that can also accommodate large trolleys. Tuo allows you to optimise the installation of the bike on the roll thanks to a practical mechanism for lateral micro-adjustment and repositioning of the upright, which allows the roll to accommodate bikes with wheels from 26 to 29 inches. The Tuo is one of the most compatible roller trainers on the market and is suitable for road bikes with a 130-135x5 mm hub with quick release and 142x12 mm with thru axle. The Tuo includes adapters that guarantee compatibility with 135x10-12 mm hubs and 148x12 mm Boost rear hubs. Nevertheless, you should check the compatibility of the width of the rear triangle of the bike with the frame of the wheel if you have a mountain bike with a 148x12 mm Boost thru axle (max. 188 mm).

Interactivity
Tuo is an interactive smart roller trainer that interacts with apps, software, computers and peripheral devices (smartphone and tablet) of all kinds with IOS, Android, OSX and Windows. Data is exchanged wirelessly between the roller trainer and other parts of the system. This makes it possible to manage the resistance, as the parameters can be viewed and changed, ensuring the greatest possible customisability and interactivity of indoor training. Tuo transmits power, speed and cadence data. Tuo can be controlled with My E-Training software (available free for 12 months) or other indoor cycling platforms (usually require a paid subscription), including: Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, Bikevo, Kinomap and many more.

Sensorless cadence measurement
All Elite exercise bikes transmit power, speed and cadence data in real time as you ride, making them a truly effective tool for creating a precise training plan and accurately simulating riding on the road. Cadence is measured using a practical sensorless technology that does not require the installation of sensors on the bike and allows the Tuo roller trainer to calculate the cadence based on changes in speed.

Compatible with Rizer
The Tuo is one of the roller trainers that is compatible with Rizer, an incline simulator with integrated steering. With Rizer, you can simulate climbs and descents in real time and experience a really intense workout thanks to the integrated steering system, which allows you to move the handlebars just like on a real climb. The Elite Suito, Suito-T, Direto XR and Direto XR-T roller trainers are also compatible with the Rizer.
