This Cosmic Ultimate 45mm wheelset from Mavic is B-goods without original packaging. The rear wheel is in good condition, the front wheel has slight optical defects which have no influence on the function and are shown in the pictures (scratches, faulty decal).
The Mavic Cosmic Ultimate 45 wheelset stands for top performance and is compatible with tubeless and clincher tyres as well as disc brakes. It offers the ultimate balance of lightness, stiffness and aerodynamics.
The rim features a NACA-inspired full carbon profile with 45 mm depth and 27 mm width, optimised for stiffness and weight, and is finished with a UD² finish. Thanks to the undrilled design, it is guaranteed tubeless compatible without the need for rim tape.
The 20 elliptical carbon fibre spokes with R2R technology and high, thin carbon hub flanges offer aerodynamic advantages, increase stiffness and require no mechanical fastening of the spokes to the hub.
The carbon hub shells contain axles with automatically adjusted, sealed industrial bearings for perfect preload. The hubs are compatible with thru axles and designed for Centre Lock brake discs.
