With the RECO 80 LINK, you get a smart 2-in-1 solution: a StVZO-compliant rear light and a reliable bike radar. The system detects up to eight approaching vehicles at a distance of up to 140 meters and warns you via your ANT+-compatible bike computer.
In addition, the integrated LED brake light and emergency brake light noticeably increase your safety on the road. The light's visibility of 500 meters and the 15-hour battery life in high mode make the RECO 80 LINK the ideal companion for long day and night rides.

Ein super Radarrücklicht. Das Radar erfasst Fahrzeuge (und lustigerweise teils Radfahrer) hinter einem sehr zuverlässig. Beim bremsen wird das Licht sichtbar heller und bei abruptem Bremsen blinkt das Licht. Die Verbindung mit einem Radcomputer (hier: Rox 11.1 EVO) lief auch reibungslos. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden!
Qualität und Verarbeitung des Produkts sind sehr gut – so, wie man es von Sigma gewohnt ist. Das Design mit der leicht schräg angeordneten Leuchte entspricht zwar nicht ganz meinem persönlichen Geschmack, darüber kann man jedoch hinwegsehen. Die Kernfunktion, das Radar, arbeitet hervorragend. In Kombination mit der Akkulaufzeit von rund 15 Stunden gehört das Gerät in seiner Klasse definitiv zu den besseren Produkten. Weniger überzeugend finde ich jedoch die Lichtfunktionen. Ich würde das Radar gerne in einem reinen Radar-Modus ohne aktive Beleuchtung nutzen. Aufgrund der StVZO-Vorgaben ist dies leider nicht möglich. Zudem lässt sich das Licht nur in der höchsten Helligkeitsstufe betreiben und nicht auf eine niedrigere Stufe reduzieren. Gerade beim Bikepacking würde ich mir diese Möglichkeit wünschen, um auch tagsüber Energie zu sparen und die Akkulaufzeit weiter zu verlängern.
Da mein Varia schlapp gemacht hat (Akku war noch ok aber offensichtlich Software oder Bluetooth Problem) habe ich mit das Sigma Radar geholt und bin sehr zufrieden. Sofortige Kopplung mit meinem Garmin 1040, Rückwärtige Autos werden zuverlässig angezeigt, Akku super. Empfehlung !
Ein super Radar-Rücklicht! Der Akku hält länger als eine Tagestour und es gibt mir ein sicheres Gefühl. Zudem ist es im Vergleich zu Konkurrenzartikeln sehr leicht.
