The first thing that catches the eye is the clean look of the C:62® carbon frame manufactured using the Advanced Twin Mold process. At second glance, however, there's much more to discover: the steering angle can be adjusted via flexibly rotating bearing shells, allowing the performance to be tailored to individual requirements. There is also a robust and practical bolted bottom bracket and a mount for fitting an ISCG 05 chain guide. Cube has integrated a storage compartment including an ACID frame bag in the down tube. Advanced Twin Mold
CUBE's Advanced Twin Mold process for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames uses two precise molds. The first ensures an exact layup, the second (the inner core) holds each individual fiber in its intended position while the frame hardens. The result is an extremely light, stable chassis with a fiber density that is optimally matched to the more heavily loaded nodes.
C:62® Carbon Fiber Technology
Not all carbon is the same. In C:62® Carbon, CUBE has increased the proportion of high-modulus fibers and then reinforced the material with finely dispersed nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin system. In other words, this special material is maximally stable, light and durable.
