Highlights of the SWOOP AL 9.0
At the front is the 38 Performance Elite fork with 170 mm travel and the superb FIT GRIP2 cartridge, which gives you full control over the compression and rebound adjustment options. At the rear, we install the large-volume Fox X2 Performance Elite air shock, also with 170 mm travel, which completes the suspension and can be calmed down for uphill riding using the 2-position lever. On the drivetrain side, we specified SRAM's GX Eagle 12-speed groupset, which shifts reliably and precisely and makes every climb a breeze with its very wide 520% gear range. Thanks to the stem/handlebar combination from Race Face's Turbine R series, you immediately feel at home on the bike and always have full control on the trail. The next downhill can come! To decelerate properly before the next berm, we rely on the outstanding SRAM Code R and 200 mm brake rotors, which not only have plenty of braking power, but can also be finely controlled. On the indestructible DT Swiss E1900 Spline system wheelset, we mount Maxxis' Assegai at the front and the Minion DHR II at the rear - both in a grippy MaxxTerra compound and stable EXO+ casing. The SWOOP AL Family
SWOOP AL is indestructible - our legendary aluminum enduro classic is back on the starting line with two models for the new season and impresses with the same attributes as always: light, aggressively priced and perfected. The SWOOP AL frame rolls on 29-inch wheels, offers enduro-typical 170 mm travel at the front and rear and has a flip chip that can be used to adjust the geometry in three options. Despite its low weight, the SWOOP AL frame has always been indestructible, and this naturally also applies to the equipment, which promises numerous fans many years of trail fun. The geometry is perfect: extremely progressive in its presentation, the Geo is still cutting-edge today and has nothing to hide from the latest products on the market. It is therefore just right for both tough enduro rides and long tours.
