Troy Brosnan the Australian DH Star wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tyre that rolls madly fast, mills precisely through curves and decelerates accordingly well if necessary. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer.
Wide Trail Casing
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tyre shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance.
WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.
