On the basis of the activated silica compound, the company worked purposefully towards a compounding technology in the performance segment. After intensive development efforts, the result of our Korbach research and development department produced a new compound technology with excellent grip and cross-country skiing properties. The new rubber compound with the self-explanatory name "PureGrip" joins the ranks behind our BlackChili compound and is used in performance products in the race and mountain bike segments. Here it ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage of Continental tires, which are manufactured exclusively in the production plant in Hefei (Asia).

Ansich ein guter Reifen, aber die Flanke ist meines Erachtens etwas zu dünn für meinen Geschmack. So habe ich mir heute den Reifen zerstört, wo ich irgendwo entlang gestreift bin. Kann beiu anderen Reifen auch passieren, aber ich kenn es bei einem anderem Reifen, dass das auch dicker und Pannensicherer geht.

Сопротивление качению - небольшое, в поворотах держит предсказуемо, без внезапных срывов. Тихая. Вес не 690 грамм, а 822 грамма. На обод надевается очень плотно, с помощью лопаток. В полевых условиях, думаю, поменять камеру без лопаток будет очень затрудительно. На обод садиться не сразу, пришлось накачать до 4 атмосфер, потом спустить до 2,5. Брал для сравнения с Rocket Ronом. Очень похожие покрышки, но Rr легче из-за тонких боковин.
