The jacket features a windproof front made from high-quality, windproof Japanese fabric, protecting your upper body from the chill on cool, windy days. The fabric also features a durable water-repellent coating (DWR; PFC-free), so it can withstand light rain and spray from the front wheel.
The mesh fabric on the back allows moisture and heat to escape – so that cooling sweat doesn’t build up in the first place. The elasticated lower back hem with a silicone print prevents the vest from riding up your back whilst you’re battling a headwind.
Thanks to the YKK® Vislon two-way zip, you can open the vest not only at the top to let air in, but also at the bottom to make it easier to access the jersey pockets underneath. Reflective elements on the back improve your visibility on the road in low-light conditions.
Once you’ve reached the top of the climb, simply pull this gilet out of your jersey pocket and zip it right up to the top: this protects your upper body from the unpleasant, chilly headwind on the descent. This compact cycling gilet is your reliable protection against wind chill.
