With the first version of the Register model, Giro set a new standard in terms of quality, design and comfort in an all-round helmet for sport and touring. The new Register II takes this standard to the next level by incorporating the styling and ventilation of Giro's high-end road bike helmets into this lightweight in-mould helmet. With a removable visor, an adjustable fit system and the Mips® Evolve Core safety system, the Register II Mips leaves nothing to be desired.

In-Mould
With the In-Mould construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single step during the foaming process. This makes the helmet even more resistant without adding weight. This production process also makes it possible to mould significantly better ventilation systems and ventilation openings. Compared to traditional helmets, in-mould helmets are therefore lighter and have significantly better ventilation systems.
MIPS® Multidirectional Impact Protection System
MIPS® is a sliding plane system inside the helmet, which was developed to slow down or absorb the amount of energy that is transferred towards or away from the head.
