The Radix™ MIPS® combines rugged style and durability to meet the demands of core trail riders. Deep coverage, light weight and ventilation - everything riders who spend all day on the trails need. The highly adjustable Roc Loc® 5.5 MIPS® system allows you to adapt the helmet perfectly to the shape of your head. And thanks to MIPS® technology, you get additional protection against rotational forces caused by a side impact.
The P.O.V.™ visor can be adjusted by 15 degrees, and the robust polycarbonate outer shell is firmly bonded to the EPS inner shell via the In-Mold™ construction for greater durability and improved ventilation.

Technologies
In-Mould
In the In-Mold construction process, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation whilst the latter is being foamed. This makes the helmet even more durable without adding any extra weight. This production process also allows for the creation of significantly better ventilation systems and vents. In-mould helmets are therefore lighter than traditional helmets and feature significantly better ventilation systems.
MIPS® Multidirectional Impact Protection System
MIPS® is a slip-plane system inside the helmet, designed to slow down or absorb the amount of energy transferred towards or away from the head.
Roc Loc 5
The new benchmark in fit systems is undoubtedly the RocLoc® 5 fit system. The adjustment mechanism is housed in a mini-casing, and size adjustment is simple and can be carried out in micro-steps using just two fingers. In addition, the system can be adjusted vertically to ensure a perfect fit for the helmet.
Wind Tunnel Ventilation
Wind Tunnel™ ventilation is Giro’s proprietary system of internal channels and active vents that direct cool, fresh air over and around your head, expelling stifling heat and stale air. A difference you can see and feel – on every ride.
P.O.V. Plus
The P.O.V. Plus visor features an adjustment mechanism that allows the visor to be raised or lowered in 3 stages. In addition, the visor can be raised high enough that, for example during a break, you can slide your goggles over the helmet. Adjustment is easy to do with one hand, even whilst riding.
