Frame and fork made of advanced composite material (carbon) save more than 160 g compared to the previous model. The modern geometry includes a lower bottom bracket, a longer reach and a steeper head tube angle for improved acceleration and climbing ability.
Agile compliance
Low-positioned seat stays with thin tubes absorb road shocks and vibrations. D-foot handlebars and seatpost work as a system to increase compliance without compromising stiffness when cornering, sprinting or climbing.
Adaptable to the terrain via flip chip
A flip chip at the rear dropout adjusts the wheelbase: short for faster handling or long for improved stability at high speeds. The long setting enables tires with a larger diameter of up to 53 mm. You can also use the supplied D-Fuse seatpost for maximum compliance or switch to a 30.9 mm round or dropper seatpost.

GIANT's high-performance carbon fiber is used to create this special carbon frame material, woven and processed in-house, offering an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is molded as a single piece. In the modified monocoque construction, the outer braided composite layer is eliminated, reducing weight without compromising ride quality, stability, or stiffness.

GIANT’s original oversized steerer tube. Built for precise steering, the extra-large headset bearings (1 1/4" bottom, 1 1/8" top for road bikes; 1 1/2" bottom, 1 1/8" top for mountain bikes) and tapered steerer provide optimal stiffness in the front end.
