The Garmin Tacx Nēra’s integrated mobility allows for natural movements forwards, backwards and sideways. This creates a particularly realistic, dynamic and comfortable riding experience that closely resembles outdoor cycling and ensures an intense indoor workout.
Race Mode for virtual races
Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, the Garmin Tacx Nēra offers a stable and reliable connection to compatible training platforms. The activatable Race Mode enables particularly fast transmission of performance data and ensures a responsive display of your accelerations and sprints during virtual cycle races on Zwift.
Compatible with the Tacx Alpine Climb Simulator
The Garmin Tacx Nēra is compatible with the separately available Tacx Alpine incline simulator. This allows you to simulate climbs of up to 25 per cent and descents of up to -10 per cent, ensuring an even more realistic indoor cycling experience. When used with Zwift, the Tacx Alpine also supports virtual real-time steering, which enables active route control and the use of slipstream advantages.
Precise power measurement and realistic gradient simulation
The Garmin Tacx Nēra records power and cadence data with an accuracy of up to 1 per cent, enabling precise training control. With a maximum resistance output of 2,200 watts and the ability to simulate gradients of up to 20 per cent, this indoor smart trainer is suitable for both intense sprint intervals and challenging hill training sessions.
Zwift Cog and Click for virtual gear changes
The Garmin Tacx Nēra comes with Zwift Cog and Zwift Click pre-installed, making it ideally suited for virtual cycling tours, training sessions and races on Zwift. Zwift Cog replaces the conventional cassette and is compatible with almost all bikes featuring 8- to 13-speed drivetrains. Zwift Click enables fast and virtually silent gear changes between 24 virtual gears, as well as additional functions such as virtual steering, menu navigation and sending Ride Ons. Furthermore, Zwift Cog continues to support training in ERG mode with compatible devices such as a Garmin Edge cycle computer.
Easy set-up and space-saving storage
Thanks to its integrated carrying handle and compact, fold-away feet, the Garmin Tacx Nēra is easy to transport and can be stored to save space. The pre-installed Zwift Cog makes it easy to get ready for indoor training. Once set up via the Tacx Training App, the smart trainer is ready for virtual rides on Zwift.
