Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated

Product information "Red Zone Carbon 29" Centrelock Shimano MicroSpline Boost Wheelset"
Fulcrum Red Zone Carbon wheelset for MTB - lightweight, stiff carbon wheelset for XC, marathon and down-country, tubeless-ready with 28 mm rim width and high-quality carbon construction.
Fulcrum Red Zone Carbone wheelset: Light, stable and perfectly tuned for demanding terrain
The Red Zone Carbon wheelset is designed for high rigidity, low weight and precise handling in modern MTB use. Rims, hubs and spokes have been coordinated as an integrated system instead of being optimised in isolation. The 28 mm internal width supports wide tyre profiles and improves both traction and riding comfort.
Despite its lightness, the wheelset offers noticeable composure and control in rough sections. The matt carbon design combines technical function with a clear, purist look. The set is therefore aimed at ambitious XC, marathon and down-country riders who expect efficiency and reliability in equal measure.
Features - Fulcrum Red Zone Carbon 29" wheelset
- Responsive & robust: Developed for demanding riders and technical terrain with high uphill and downhill control.
- System concept instead of individual parts: Rims, hubs and spokes designed as an optimally matched complete wheel.
- Lightweight with damping: High climbing performance combined with vertical compliance and stability for safe downhills.
- 28 mm carbon rim (DIMF finish): Smooth running, modern matt carbon design straight from the mould for XC/Marathon & Down-Country.

AFS-AXLE SYSTEM™
The Axial Fixing System™ is the solution developed by Fulcrum® for fixing the disc brake to the hub. The tension provided by the impact area of the release mechanism, which is greater than the known standard versions, makes it possible to obtain greater structural rigidity and therefore more precise and efficient braking.
2-WAY FIT™
The wheelset can be converted to tubeless tyres. The conversion is only approved for certain tyre types. You can find more information on the Fulcrum website
