From aggressive trails to enduro – the FLOAT X’s advanced damping, fade-free performance and class-leading durability make it a versatile and lightweight choice for all-mountain riders who want to make the most of their descents.
Thanks to tool-free adjustment of compression and rebound, the FLOAT X can be quickly and easily adapted to the specific trail and riding conditions. The numbered 11-click low-speed compression adjuster and the 2-position lever switch (open or locked) operate via independent switching systems, allowing all-mountain riders to adjust both their downhill and climbing settings with a single switch.
Each size of the FLOAT X is paired with a specific length of piggyback reservoir, ensuring the shock has exactly the right volume for maximum power-to-weight ratio. Combined with the large EVOL air chamber, the ride feel remains consistent even on long descents. A rock-solid shock that’s suitable for the full spectrum of aggressive trail and all-mountain riding and fits a wide range of frame designs and geometries.
The Performance Elite shock absorbers feature the same adjustment options, functions, dampers and weight as the Factory series, but are black anodised.
