The all-new 34 Step-Cast is Fox's lightest 34 ever and has been redesigned from the ground up to deliver uncompromising XC race performance with class-leading adjustability, chassis stiffness and stability.
The GRIP SL is an impressively light, short-stroke damping system that not only saves weight, but also delivers a ride feel that is unrivalled in its class. A smooth response paired with optimised, bob-free drive efficiency and a blow-off function in lockout mode to absorb unexpected impacts reduce rider fatigue.

GRIP-SL
In the world of endurance racing, every gram counts. With the Grip SL, FOX has developed a short-travel shock that not only reduces weight, but can also keep up with the increasingly demanding World Cup XCO and XCM races. Lockout performance is paramount with the Grip SL: it's firm when you're pedalling in a sprint, while offering smooth braking when you hit a bump with the lockout engaged. This reduces fatigue and saves the rider's energy. When the compression adjuster is in the middle or open position, the rider experiences a smooth stroke in the early stages of travel with optimised pedal-to-bump efficiency
Kashima Coat finish
The distinctive gold Genuine Kashima Coat coating offers superior overall performance and ensures minimal friction and optimum responsiveness with maximum durability. All Factory Series forks - Now available for all Factory Series forks. The Genuine Kashima Coat coating for a buttery smooth ride is exclusive to FOX - the Kashima Coat logo is applied to both stanchions.
FLOAT air spring - patented air equalisation technology
The FLOAT air suspension system for the 32, 34 and 40 is lighter and reduces the compression release force, providing excellent ride comfort and better response to small bumps for all riders and at all pressure settings. Similar to our FLOAT shocks, the new FLOAT system has positive and negative air springs that automatically equalise in use to give the rider exactly the desired suspension behaviour. The progressivity of the spring characteristic can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing the rider to fine-tune the spring behaviour of the air spring.
EVOL
A more linear spring curve gives EVOL forks and shocks smoother top-end spring behaviour, extra mid-travel support and more tunable end progression. EVOL technology has an increased negative air spring volume. Specially positioned and dimensioned with optimum sensitivity to small bumps.
Air Volume Spacers
The FLOAT air spring on Fox forks and shocks can be fine-tuned by using volume spacers to make the suspension elements more progressive or less progressive. This allows the rider to fine-tune the suspension exactly to their needs.
