Highlights

All bolt-on points for your adventure
The sun rises, your adventure begins. Ready to lose yourself and time, you get on your ATLAS at dawn. At this point, your ATLAS itself is already ready for any adventure. It has all the bolt-on points you can imagine.

How much luggage do you want to take with you on your bikepacking tour? The ATLAS answers "yes" across the board. It is approved for a system weight of 135 kg. But that's not all: of course, the luggage and stowage options of the ATLAS don't stop at just the screw-on points.

Prep Pocket & Prep Pack
For that little bit of extra storage or as a compartment for essentials: the down tube of the 8th series conceals a spacious, rattle-free storage compartment - the Prep Pocket.

It is closed tightly with a lever and offers space for snacks, a tube or the Prep Pack, a bag specially designed for this compartment. The Prep Pack offers space for a tool, cartridge or a couple of tire levers, for example. Prep Pocket & Prep Pack Something can also be attached to the inside of the pocket lid with a strap. A special pin in the frame prevents the bag from slipping down.

You can quickly see from the Velcro fastener on the bag whether you have exhausted the packing volume of the bag so that it fits perfectly in the Prep Pocket.

And speaking of maxing out: a second pack (only included once, item number 551000300) would also fit in the Prep Pocket.

8. Series fine-tuned
The geometry of the 8th series has also been fine-tuned. A steeper steering angle and at the same time a shorter trail provide responsive, sensitive handling. With an even shorter wheelbase, the 8th series is extremely reactive and easy to maneuver. In addition, less stack makes for a higher, even sportier seat. Here too, the seat tube has been shortened slightly to allow more seatpost flex and therefore more comfort.

This rack is banned from Italy
The Hawaii rack. The ATLAS 6.8 EQP is already fitted with an integrated light ex works, but it can be retrofitted to all other new ATLAS models without restriction. The Hawaii Rack provides you with additional storage space for various Hawaiian pizzas (watch out if you are traveling in Italy), panniers or anything else under 5 kg that you want to tie down. It can be purchased with the article number 890005600 from your local FOCUS dealer. Unfortunately, it is NOT compatible with the first generation of the ATLAS.

Adventure Rack is back
And the Adventure Rack is still fully compatible with all ATLAS models. With up to three straps, you can easily attach one pannier per side to the Adventure Rack. This keeps the center of gravity at the rear low and the packsack potential of the ATLAS high. It can be purchased with the article number 890003900 from your local FOCUS dealer.

EQP (ready)
Like the EQP predecessor model, the ATLAS 6.8 EQP comes with a pannier rack. It can be purchased with the item number 890003100 from your local FOCUS dealer and retrofitted to all 6th series models. The 6.8 EQP is also equipped with mudguards. If you want to retrofit it to another ATLAS, there is a perfect fit for every model. For single and double cranks, there is a mudguard set with a prepared light cable and one without a light cable - four sets in total and therefore just right for you!

Tubeless-ready system
All ATLAS models come tubeless-ready and with 45 mm wide tires. This means that the rim tape is already glued across all models. If you want to ride tubeless, all you have to do is take out the tubes, fit the valves, fill with milk and off you go. The 8.9 is delivered directly without tubes, with valves fitted and sealing milk included.

Premium look
Ok, this point is not essential, but with smoothed weld seams (putty) on the 6th series and the clean, C.I.S. stem with integrated cable routing on all models, your bike simply looks chic. In addition, the paint on every ATLAS 8.9 is hand-painted, making each of these frames truly unique.

Tire clearance
The maximum tire clearance on the fork is 53 mm. A maximum of 48 mm wide tires fit on the rear wheel of the 6th series and 45 mm tires on the 8th series.

Bye bye Boost
We probably don't need to say much about this. Road Boost is history. All new ATLAS models come with the familiar 12x100/12x142 axle size and BSA bottom bracket - for better ease of maintenance.

Please note that no pedals are included in the scope of delivery!
