The new TWIST Bottle 590 comes in a new design and with an improved connection technology that provides a strong hold on every ride. The ergonomic design with the rounded edges offers a bigger frame compatibility and makes the twisting off and snapping to the TWIST Base even more intuitive.The new bottle cap with a high flow valve is self-sealing and leak-proof. It comes with an optional dirt cover, so the mouthpiece stays clean even when mounted on the downtube. But of course, the TWIST Bottle 590 is still compatible with all TWIST Bases and the connector which makes a bottle upgrade easy at all times.
The TWIST bottle revolutionized the bike bottle. Without the conventional bottle cage this magnet-mechanical bike bottle system offers a new kind of freedom in handling and application. It is simply released from the bike with an easy “TWIST” movement and just as easily reattached by bringing together the magnetic bolds, which include a mechanical locking system.
The bike base is mounted on the bike to the bottle braze-ons with two screws.

- The mount is attached to the bike frame with the screws provided. The bottle just needs to be brought close to the mount and the magnetic attraction pulls the bottle in. The mechanical mechansim then secures the bottle.

Still haven't tried it out to see if it will rattle on nastier trails. Interesting TWIST system could find some other uses, EG mounting battery for front lights. Planning to use bottle on my XC bike so i'm not so scared of leaking and rattling.
Hallo zusammen, Habe jetzt schon seit einigen Jahren das System von Fidlock (auf einem SC Hightower) und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Selbst im Bikepark ist mir noch nie ne Flsche fliegen gegangen, trotzdem kann man die Flasche super herausnehmen.
Bei Wärme (so ab 25° Außentemperatur) wird bei meiner Flasche das ohnehin schon weiche Material besonders im Bereich der Halterung noch etwas weicher, so dass diese beweglich wird . Dann fängt es bei der Abfahrt an zu klappern. Wenn das Plastik abgekühlt ist, ist die Halterung wieder fest. Zudem sifft die Flasche nach Trailabfahrten vor sich hin.
The magnet idea is pretty good if you have limited space in the bike frame. Unfortunately, due to 2 flaws, I completely gave up using this Water Bottle. I use it in the mountains on enduro trips: there are fluid leaks through the mouthpiece so that the entire frame is flooded with drinking fluid. The second flaw: it rattles a lot if we ride on difficult mountain routes because the magnetic handle has some technical slack.
Simple, but VERY efficient system to carry the bottle on the bike and very neat when not used. If you have limited space in the frame (I did) take the measurement carefully - Fidlock provides precise product sizing and also a 1:1 printable cut-out template on their site if you are unsure.
