Product information "GS1 Evo grips"

The GS1 Evo redefines comfortable riding on touring, trekking and e-bikes – without sore hands or numb fingers. To achieve this, Ergon has combined its global best-selling GP1 wing grip with the GA3 MTB grip.

The best of both worlds: the GS1 Evo from Ergon

The formula: more wing-like than the GA3, sportier than the GP series, advanced textured panels for three grip zones (thumb, fingers, palm) and a new, soft grip feel. All this in exclusive Ergon quality with rubber grips made in Germany. Whether for short or long distances – here’s the new favourite for frequent cyclists!

Features – Ergon GS1 Evo

  • The large wing takes the pressure off – with the GS1 Evo, Ergon is once again setting the benchmark. Sporty cyclists can finally look forward to an ergonomic grip with a pronounced wing. This ensures pressure is distributed evenly and the wrist is optimally relieved; there are no constrictions, and the sensitive ulnar nerve is protected. Numb fingers and aching hands are now a thing of the past.
  • The pain preventer – If the wrist is bent too sharply whilst cycling, the carpal tunnel can become compressed. The result: a burning pain in the hand or forearm – known as carpal tunnel syndrome. The GS1 Evo prevents exactly that: the wing, which is perfectly adapted to the hand with an anatomical arch over the metacarpals, ensures an almost complete form-fit between the hand and the grip. Across this large surface area, high localised pressure is distributed evenly, relieving pressure on the carpal tunnel and preventing pain.
  • A new ergonomic formula for full control – thumb, fingers, metacarpals: with these three grip zones, you can grip the handlebars firmly and steer your bike whilst riding. The GS1 Evo features special textured areas for each of these zones, perfectly adapted to the ergonomics of the hand – for full control and a high level of safety.
  • A grip as dynamic as you are – The GS1 Evo has been ergonomically optimised in its design and with a redefined rubber hardness for sporty touring and fitness rides. It has slightly less volume than our global best-selling GP1 wing grip – making it perfectly suited to dynamic grip positions, for example when you stand up on the pedals.
  • Thick or thin – a fit for every hand – To ensure the GS1 Evo fits your hand perfectly, we offer a choice of two sizes. The difference between ‘Small’ and ‘Large’ lies in the grip width. A larger hand will have a better fit with a thicker handle than with a thinner one. Conversely, a thinner grip suits a smaller hand best. For hand (glove) sizes 6.5–8.5, we recommend the ‘Small’ size; for 8.5–10.5, you should choose ‘Large’.

Your wrist is ergonomically supported in an optimal, comfortable position, so sore wrists, numb fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome are no longer an issue. Very good

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars
