Always stays secure – and that’s a good thing
The GP series’ clamping system is extremely secure and easy to fit. Each grip is secured with just one screw, reliably preventing it from twisting. Also important: Ergon aluminium clamps are forged, not pressed. The GP3 and other GP models offer additional grip positions thanks to our super-light, flexible bar-ends made from glass-fibre composite with non-slip rubber inlays.
It’s all in the mix
Minimal friction – maximum comfort: the super-soft, UV-stable rubber compound developed by Ergon, with its textured panels, offers reliable grip whilst cycling, feels comfortable in the hand and noticeably enhances riding enjoyment.
Suitable for any type of gear system
Some models in our GP series, including the GP2, are available in special versions for different gear systems. For a standard derailleur system, both levers are the same length. The version forGripshift® or Dual-Twist-Shift twist-grip shifters includes two shortened levers, whilst forRohloff®,Nexus® and Single-Twist-Shift, only the lever on the right-hand side is shortened.
From the original wing grip to the GP2 Evo
The Ergon GP1 has been the benchmark for bicycle wing grips for 20 years. Tried and tested millions of times, this global bestseller has been honoured with countless test wins and awards. But that wasn’t enough for Ergon. They have continuously improved the original model for touring and fitness cyclists in terms of function, materials and workmanship, and are now setting a new benchmark with the Evo version. You can’t get more ergonomic than this.
