Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Frame-size in cm: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.61. Frame size in inch: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.24.If the theoretical value lies between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- Rather the smaller frame size when riding sportsmanlikely
- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "Double Checker Chain & rotor wear checker"
The Dynamic Double Checker precisely measures chain wear and brake disc thickness. Suitable for 7-13-speed chains, with rotor check, integrated chain hook and robust aluminium design.
Double Checker - precise tool for chains and rotor
The Double Checker combines several essential workshop functions in one compact precision tool for everyday cycling. The three-point design determines the actual pin wear of the chain particularly accurately and therefore delivers more reliable results than conventional measuring methods. Marked test slots for SRAM, Shimano, Campagnolo, Magura and Hope brake discs make it easier to quickly check the rotor strength directly on the bike. Made of anodised aluminium with integrated guidelines, ruler and clever chain hook, the tool supports efficient and safe working.
Features - Dynamic Double Checker
- Precise 2-in-1 tool for measuring chain wear and rotor strength - compatible with all 7-13-speed chains including SRAM Flattop, Shimano and Campagnolo.
- Innovative three-point design measures actual pin wear and delivers significantly more accurate results than conventional chain gauges.
- Brand-specific rotor slots for SRAM, Shimano, Campagnolo, Magura and Hope allow quick and precise control of brake disc thickness.
- Made from lightweight, anodised aluminium with integrated chain hook and ruler - for fast, safe work and a longer service life for your components.
Compatibility
- Chains: 7-13-speed, including SRAM Flattop, Shimano and Campagnolo
- Rotor: SRAM, Shimano, Campagnolo, Magura and Hope
Material
- Anodised aluminium
Scope of delivery
- 1 x Dynamic Double Checker Chain & rotor wear checker
How to use
Chain check
- Insert point 1 and 2 into the chain (Pointing the pins down)
- Lift the chain between points 1 and 2 to create tension
- Press point 3 down into the chain
- Read the wear indicator:
< 0.5 % - Chain in good condition
0.5 % - Replace 11/12/13-speed chains
0.75 % - replace 7/8/9/10-speed chains
Rotor check
- Pick the right slot for your rotor
- If your rotor fits into the brand-specific slot, it needs to be replaced. When in doubt, always verify the minimum thickness on the rotor itself.
Chain hook
- Insert the two hooks, ensuring no tension on the chain in between the hooks for stable, mess-free chain mounting and dismounting.
- Close or open the missing link on your chain.
