True to the motto 'Protect what you love', I tried out the Dyedbro frame protector kit on my Radon Render E-MTB. The films are rolled up in one piece and should first be roughly cut. In the kit are two films each for seat and chainstay and one for the top tube and down tube included. If times a foil is too long, you can cut this without problems with scissors to fit, I have always cut the corners round. Then I just had to clean the frame with a cloth and some isopropyl alcohol, so that it is free of grease and the film sticks well. Then put the foils on and press them down from the middle to the outside. If an air bubble was ever visible, I briefly pulled the film off again and pressed it on with the help of the spatula without any bubbles. You can use a hair dryer to make the foils more flexible, which helps if you have to stick the foils over welds or angular pipes. In total it took me about 30 minutes, and besides the additional frame protection the foils also look good. Even after three tours in the mud, no foil has come off.
