Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Technologies
Straightpull technology
Straightpull stands for straight, unbent spokes. Thanks to this technology it is possible to achieve an ideal ratio between weight and stability. The Straightpull spokes allow a very precise alignment and optimized positioning in the wheel and thus provide a stiffer and more responsive wheel.
Hub Technology
DT Swiss hubs rightly enjoy a legendary reputation. Several unique features have contributed to this: the Ratchet System® freewheel technology is extremely durable, reliable and can be serviced within minutes without tools thanks to the plugged design of the hubs. Thanks to the same plug-in system, all hubs can be converted to almost any axle standard and thus fit on any bike. The non-contact sealing system and the high-precision assembly guarantee the best running properties, so that the energy of the FahrerIn is converted exclusively into propulsion. The consistent weight optimization highlights the racing genes of this classic.
