Scope of delivery

There is constant friction between the chain and the sprocket whilst cycling, as well as between the chain links. This causes fine metal particles to be shed, and the chain inevitably becomes dirty. Combined with residues from chain lubricants, sand, road grime, etc., this creates a stubborn build-up on the chain and sprocket, which drastically accelerates wear. New lubrication becomes increasingly ineffective, as the lubricants can no longer penetrate the chain.

Use
- Apply the chain cleaner to the chain and leave to work for approx. 5–10 mins (max. 15 mins). For stubborn dirt, scrub the chain links with a brush (do not use a wire brush). Then rinse the chain thoroughly with a strong jet of water. If no water supply is available, the product can also be wiped off with a dry cloth. For after-treatment, apply F100 Bio Chain Oil or F100 Bio Dry Lubricant to the dry chain.
Note: The product must not come into contact with brake discs, brake pads or tyre treads (risk of accident!). Wipe off any bicycle parts accidentally splashed with the product immediately.
The chain and other moving parts of mountain bikes, road bikes, etc. are often subjected to heavy use. Added to this are environmental factors, such as rain and dirt, which reduce the smooth operation of the moving parts and accelerate wear and corrosion. Furthermore, some lubricants contain certain raw materials that can be harmful to the environment.

Use
- Shake the bottle vigorously before use! Apply a thin layer of F100 Bio Chain Oil to the inside of a clean, dry chain. Wipe off any excess oil with a dry cloth.
Note: Do not use on brake pads, tyres or saddles.

Bei dem Bio-Kettenöl muss man etwas schneller wieder nachölen, aber trotzdem greife ich lieber zum Bio-Öl. Das ist zumindest umweltfreundlicher. Der Reiniger funktioniert auch gut.
