The Airstripes back system with low back support and large ventilation channels as well as the perforated shoulder straps and hip fins ensure optimum air circulation, body-hugging weight distribution and therefore a compact fit in any terrain. Thanks to attachments on the shoulder straps, the carabiners of the via ferrata set are always within easy reach. In addition, equipment and material are quickly to hand thanks to the large arched opening with zip, elasticated front pocket and side pockets.

Deuter Airstripes
The unique Airstripes system ensures a wobble-free fit including ventilation: fresh air circulates continuously between the Airstripes padding with ventilation channels and Wide-AirMesh cover thanks to the low back support. At the same time, the weight is always kept close to the body. This minimises centrifugal forces and prevents the rucksack from breaking out.
The result:
The rucksack sits compactly and securely on the back during all movements. At the same time, the Airstripes padding with ventilation channels guarantees free air circulation over 80% of the back thanks to its small contact area.
Made without PFAS
This product was manufactured by Deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
ClimatePartner certified product
By increasing the use of materials and technologies with a lower carbon footprint in our collections, we are working to minimise our carbon footprint in the long term. However, even with the greatest efforts, emissions cannot be completely avoided. We would like to offset all emissions that we can no longer reduce in our products today in collaboration with ClimatePartner. In future, when a deuter product is purchased, the amount of emissions released by the production and transport of the product will be offset by voluntary compensation and invested specifically in a selected social and climate protection project.
Material
D stands for denier - a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 metres of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
PES stands for polyester. Polyester fibres are very tear and abrasion resistant, easy to clean and hardly absorb any moisture.
PA stands for polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibres are particularly durable, elastic and lightweight - ideal for textiles subject to heavy wear and tear.
REC stands for Recycled - the material comes entirely or partially from recycled raw materials.
BS stands for bluesign®-certified - the material has been produced in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way in accordance with the bluesign® standard.
